جدید جنگی ٹیکنالوجی اور انسانی حقوق کا سیرت طیبہ کی روشنی میں تحقیقی جائزہ A Research Analysis of Modern Warfare Technology and Human Rights in the Light of Sīrah al-Țayyibah
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research critically explores the intersection between modern warfare technology and human rights through the lens of Sīrah al-Ṭayyibah and Islamic jurisprudence. The rapid advancement of military innovations such as drone strikes, artificial intelligence-based weaponry, cyber warfare, and autonomous defense systems has introduced complex ethical and legal dilemmas that challenge the compatibility of these practices with Islamic principles of justice, peace, and the sanctity of human life. Drawing upon Qur’anic injunctions, Prophetic traditions, and principles of Islamic law (fiqh al-jihād), the study critically examines how such technologies may conflict with Islamic moral values or, under certain conditions, be ethically regulated. It further highlights the Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) humane and reconciliatory approach during warfare as a timeless model for restraint, mercy, and respect for human dignity. Ultimately, the research advocates for a comprehensive application of Islamic ethical frameworks to guide and govern the use of modern warfare technologies, ensuring accountability, justice, and the protection of human rights in all contexts.
